Only Two More Years For The Museum Of Lucas Fan Art To Open Its Doors
Lucas Fan Art – Perhaps, many still do not know about the existence of the Lucas Fan Art Museum. The project will be inaugurated in 2021 and designed by the architects of MAD Architects.
Also known as the Lucas Fan Art Museum, the enclosure evokes the shape of a futuristic aircraft, which lands on the natural environment of space. Its interior is a cave where cascades of natural light pour in from the upper skylights.
On the other hand, the museum planned to house more than 10,000 paintings, works of art and material associated with the films of this great director. Best of all, the structure on the first floor will be a treat for visitors.
This is because the first floor will be designated for exercising, relaxing and “directly experiencing nature in the urban environment.” In addition, this project will cost about 1,500 million dollars. Consequently, it will be a cultural venue of great importance.

An open city with an inclusive philosophy, especially innovative buildings, is significant. Working with Lucas to create a world-class landmark for Los Angeles is a pleasure. We look forward to our joint efforts continuing to make Los Angeles the most creative metropolis in the world.”
This is stated by Ma Yansong, founder and senior partner of MAD. He and his architects have submitted three different designs planned for Chicago and San Francisco, respectively.
However, after disagreements, the official headquarters will be in Los Angeles. In this regard, George Lucas said, “I am an avid fan of architecture, and I wanted a different museum that was a work of art in itself, and [MAD] has achieved it three times”.
